<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell which is compact and inexpensive since hydrogen in an anode exhaust gas is collected by using an electrochemical hydrogen pump unit. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel battery 10 includes a power generation section including a laminated body of a fuel battery cell 11, and one or more of electrochemical hydrogen pump units 12. The hydrogen pump unit is an impurity concentration section for separating the anode exhaust gas from the power generation section into hydrogen and a gas with higher impurity concentration. Liquid water is gathered at a designated height level in a cathode passage of each hydrogen pump unit 12, but it is not gathered at a level exceeding the designated level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
