<p>The method involves changing input voltage (IN) at a voltage divider circuit till an output signal (UOUT) lies within a pre-determined interval, which encloses a value of reference voltage (UREF). Dividing nodes (RK0, RK1, RKN-1) of the circuit are selected, and a partial voltage is tapped for changing the input voltage. Pre-determined values of the variables are assigned to the nodes. A field strength value, which is received from a receiving unit, is determined from comparison of values of the variable with field strength values that are assigned to the variable values in a value table. An independent claim is also included for a switching arrangement for implementing the method for retrieval of field strength information.</p> |
