<p>A method is described of operating a working machine (10) which includes a body (11), a ground engaging structure (13), and a working arm (14) carrying a working implement (19), and an operator control (30a) for operating hydraulic actuators (20-23, 24, 28) for effecting operating functions of the machine (10), the operator control (30a) mounting an additional control (32) which is controllable to operate at least one selected actuator for effecting a selected operating function, the additional control (32) providing inputs to a control device (31) which responds proportionally to operate the selected actuator, the method including controlling the additional control (32) to operate the selected actuator, and with the additional control (32) being controlled to provide an input to the control device (31) to achieve a desired operation of the actuator, activating a memory mode whereby the control device (31) memorises the input and continues to operate the selected actuator in accordance with the memorised input.</p> |
