<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintering method for obtaining a sintered compact with less deformation in a method for producing an R-TM-B radial anisotropic ring magnet. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for producing an R-TM-B radial anisotropic ring magnet, deformation of a sintered compact can be suppressed by inserting a sintering implement (columnar body) in the inner diameter of a ring magnet molding during sintering while the length of the sintering implement in the axial direction is made to be shorter than that of the sintering compact in the axial direction.
