<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion picture decoding method and a motion picture decoding device, capable of reproducing a picture coded in a screen in the middle of picture coding signals, and reproducing the in-screen coded pictures and thereafter without causing errors, even if an error occurs in a stream. <P>SOLUTION: The motion picture decoding method includes a decoding step of decoding first information or second information. In this method, when a decoding picture is designated as a reference picture, on the basis of the first information, a decoding reference picture is selected from the reference picture and a picture, decoded after the reference picture and a picture decoded and stored before the reference picture is deleted; and when the decoding picture is designated as a non-reference picture, on the basis of the second information, a decoding reference picture is selected from among the pictures, decoded before the decoding picture, the decoding picture and the picture decoded after the decoding picture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
