DAMPING RUBBER, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND COMPOSITION FOR DAMPING RUBBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping rubber that exhibits excellent damping ability in a broad temperature range and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The damping rubber contains (B) 5-60 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic elastomer comprising a polystyrene-vinyl polyisoprene block copolymer and (C) 25-70 pts.wt of at least one resin selected from the group consisting of a terpene-based resin and a petroleum-based resin, based on (A) 100 pts.wt of a rubber component. The damping rubber also has loss tangent tanδof 0.5 or more at 100 Hz in a temperature range of -15 to 65°C. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
