PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an opening/closing operation of a valve by easily rotating a handle installed at a high place by a work by a small number of persons on a floor surface without installing a scaffold, etc. requiring time and labor for installation, dismantling and removal, making an operation inconvenience and having a possibility of involving danger. SOLUTION: This wrench includes a locking unit 2 having an outer diameter insertable into a gap between ribs 52 in the handle 50 for opening/closing the valve from a lower side and a locking claw 3 capable of locking the ribs from an optionally peripheral direction by being returned to a lower side after passing an upper side of the handle, an operation shaft 10 extended downward from the locking unit 2, an operating lever 15 projectingly provided in an outer diameter direction from the operation shaft 10, and a support unit 70 installed on the floor surface located on the lower side of the handle to freely rotatably support a lower part of the operation shaft 10.
