<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a device for generating hydrogen to attain the removal of bubbles generated on a photocatalyst electrode and the acceleration of the diffusion of a reactant is needed because the efficiency of hydrogen generation is lowered by the bubbles generated from the photocatalyst electrode in a conventional device for generating hydrogen. <P>SOLUTION: In the device for generating hydrogen using the photocatalyst comprising a light transmitting cell 5, an aqueous solution 1, the photocatalyst electrode 2 and a counter electrode 3, it is characterized that the aqueous solution 1 is stirred physically. By this constitution, the bubbles adhered to the photocatalyst electrode are removed, the contacting rate between the photocatalyst electrode and the aqueous solution is enhanced and then the efficiency of hydrogen generation is raised. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
