<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an omitted character terminal system for enabling an operator to efficiently correspond to omitted characters. <P>SOLUTION: The omitted character terminal system includes: a storage part for storing the information of characters; a scanner for reading a document; an image processing part for dividing the image of information read by the scanner by each character; a character recognition part for character-recognizing the image obtained from the image processing part; an omitted character determination part for determining an omitted character by comparing the character recognition result obtained by the character recognition part with the information obtained from a host device; an omitted character image determination part for determining the image of the omitted character determined by the omitted character determination part from the image divided by the image division part; a similar character retrieval part for calculating similarity between the omitted character determined by the omitted character image determination part and the character stored in the storage part, and for retrieving the character in the order of high similarity; and an input part for selecting and processing the character retrieved by the similar character retrieval part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
