<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for compensating a power transmission grid (220). <P>SOLUTION: The system includes one or more non-conventional power generating sources (210) that are connected to the power transmission grid (220). At least one series compensation circuit (230) is connected, to at least a portion of the power transmission grid, to compensate the power transmission grid.
