摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for decreasing the influence of reflected light of external light caused by patterned bus lines, in the configuration wherein a backlight is disposed at a back surface of one substrate having common electrodes and color filters, and images are viewed from the side of the other substrate having pixel electrodes and thin film transistors. <P>SOLUTION: A layer (low-reflection layer) 3a with optical reflectivity lower than that of bus lines 4a, which is patterned in the same shape as the bus lines 4a, is provided so as to cover the bus lines 4a in a buffer film 3 formed between a viewing side glass substrate 2 and an insulating film 4 where the bus lines 4a are disposed. The external light (A) made incident through the glass substrate 2 is shielded by the low-reflection layer 3a and does not arrive at the bus lines 4a.
