PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication apparatus which facilitates replacement, when exchanging a conventional machine type (DoPa terminal) with a new machine type (FOMA terminal). SOLUTION: The wireless communication apparatus (wireless communication terminal 107) which is connected to a data terminal device 108, corresponding to a DoPa communication scheme and is wirelessly connected to a communication network (communication network 104) in accordance with a FOMA communication system. The wireless communication apparatus determines a transmission source and contents for data received from the data terminal device 108 and the communication network and transmits the data to the data terminal device 108, or to the communication network, after making the data delay by a preset time, according to the determination.
