摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a film suitable for a protective film for a light polarizer which shows the breaking elongation of 10% or more in a longitudinal direction of the film, the breaking elongation of 10% or more in a vertical direction and the difference between the breaking elongation in a longitudinal direction and that in a vertical direction is small and further shows a low phase difference even though no rubber ingredient is contained. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for an acrylic protective film comprises the first axis drawing process of drawing a non-drawing film containing an acrylic resin at a breaking elongation rate of 150% or more, at a drawing speed of 5 times/min or more, at a temperature of 5°C or less lower than the glass transition point of the film; and the second axis drawing process of drawing the thus treated film at a breaking elongation rate of 150% or more, at a drawing speed of 10 times/min or more, at a temperature within [a glass transition point+10°C] or less of the film, wherein the drawing temperature in the second axis drawing process is higher than the temperature of the first axis drawing temperature but lower than (the first axis drawing temperature+10)°C and the drawing speed of the first axis drawing process is 1.5 times or more but less than 7 times lower than that of the second axis drawing process.
