The invention relates to motor vehicle engineering. The chassis for motor vehicles comprises a frame, front and rear suspensions, a balance beam, hubs, axle shafts, reaction rods and brackets. A bearing axle is secured in a steering knuckle. A brake disc, a conical spacer, a wheel disc and an angle washer, which is provided with teeth on the outer side thereof, are mounted on the axle. The steering control brackets and the brackets of a disc braking system are secured on the knuckle. An U-shaped rod is mounted on the brackets of the balancing beam. Slots are made on the axle for introducing it into the differential of the reduction gear and the positive locking clutch. A drive shaft with a conical gear is introduced into the reduction gear. A slotted flange is mounted on the shaft. A conical drive gear is disposed between two conical driven gears. A similar shaft is arranged on the rear side of the reduction gear. Gears for transmitting rotation to the differential are mounted on the shafts of the driven gears. A direction conversion gear is mounted on the left side. The differential consists of cups and tubular shafts. Slots for engaging the locking clutch are made on the tubular shafts. A lock shift fork is accommodated in a reduction gear case. All the rotating joints are provided with lubricating grease cups, cuffs and protective lids. The invention makes it possible to increase the operational reliability and to ease the maintenance of the chassis.
