PURPOSE: A settling pond automatic washing system with a water jet pressure washing equipment and a control method thereof are provided to save the cost necessary for cleaning a large-sized water processing tub by automatically cleaning the tub. CONSTITUTION: A water jet pressure washing equipment includes a cleaning water supply pump(10), a jet spray nozzle(21) and a divergence valve(12). The cleaning water supply pump supplies cleaning water to clean setting pond(2), and the jet spray nozzle sprays cleaning water to a wall(3) and a bottom plane of a setting pond to clean the wall and the bottom plane. The divergence valve supplies the cleaning water to the jet spray nozzle from the cleaning supply pump.
