<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing di-D-fructofuranose-1,2':2,3' dianhydride III crystal (hereinafter referred to as DFA III), free from sugars and various impurities, especially even odor, except the DFA III. <P>SOLUTION: The highly pure crystal of DFA III is produced by adding 0.1-5% of powdered active carbon to a crude DFA III solution containing DFA III of 60% or more purity at a concentration of R-Bx 10 or more, and after stirring, applying the mixture to solid-liquid separation (filtration with diatomaceous, filtration through a membrane filter, ultrafiltration, or continuous centrifugal separation, etc.) and concentrating the separated liquid, followed by immediate crystallization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
