COVERING FILM FOR INSTRUMENT, INSTRUMENT USING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR COVERING PORTION OF INSTRUMENT TO BE COVERED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covering film for an instrument, which can achieve a covering property necessary to provide an aesthetic appearance to a variety of products without causing a radio disturbance, etc., to provide the instrument using the covering film, and a method for covering the portion of the instrument to be covered.

SOLUTION: The covering film includes: a film-like information input device 4 which is arranged on the lower side of the film-like transparent substrate 3; a functional liquid crystal film 5 which is arranged on the lower side of the information input device 4 in a position to cover the portion of the instrument to be covered and which is capable of electrically switching between a transmission state and a non-transmission state; and a non-metallic film-like luster layer 6 which is arranged on the lower side of the functional liquid crystal film and which has luster due to reflection and a transmittability.
