PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron beam irradiation device capable of preventing a wire from being charged without using a special device, when applying crosslinking processing to a coating part of a wire by irradiating the wire with an electron beam. SOLUTION: A winding device 90 for winding a wire A sent out of an irradiation chamber 20 to the outside is provided outside the irradiation chamber 20. The winding device 90 includes a drum 91 for winding the wire A, and a shaft 92 which is a rotating shaft of the drum 91. The shaft 92 to be used is made of a metal, and the shaft 92 is electrically grounded. Before starting electron beam irradiation processing, a coating part at the tip of the wire A is peeled, and an exposed core wire is electrically connected to the shaft 92. Thereby, the core wire of the wire A is dropped to the earth. The electron beam irradiation processing is performed while the core wire is electrically connected to the shaft 92.
