摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up gas supply by a manual return while ensuring safety and improve convenience in a gas meter which allows an automatic return and manual return of a shutoff valve. SOLUTION: The gas meter includes a return button for giving a return direction allowing the shutoff valve to return from a shutoff state to a valve-open state. A first pressure value and a second pressure value, which is different from the first pressure value, which are to be compared to a gas pressure, are set. Without the reception of the return direction from the return button, after a lapse of a waiting time from the shutoff of the shutoff valve or its shutoff direction, the shutoff valve is changed to the valve-open state from the shutoff state. After a lapse of a predetermined time from the opening of the shutoff valve, the shutoff valve is controlled to be the shutoff state. When a decrease value in the gas pressure is the first pressure value or below, the shutoff valve is controlled to be the valve-open state, the shutoff valve is changed to the valve-open state with the reception of the return direction from the return button, and after a lapse of a predetermined time, the shutoff valve is changed to the shutoff state.
