<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent sticking and scorching of dirts on an illumination window and on an observation window even when the windows are irradiated with illumination light with high power density, and also to effectively prevent adhesion of a living tissue during high frequency treatment in an endoscopic surgery using an endoscope. <P>SOLUTION: An air and water supply device 600 comprises a CO<SB>2</SB>cylinder 651, a liquid storing tank 652, a feed pressure and flow rate control section 653, an air and water supply control section 654, flow rate sensors 655 and 656, a three-way valve 657, and a heater 658. The air and water supply control section 654 controls the feed pressure and flow rate control section 653, the three-way valve 657 and the heater 658 on the basis of a control signal C from a CPU of a processor including setting information of normal observation mode or fluorescent observation mode or the like, an electrocautery treatment signal F from a foot switch, and detection signals from the flow rate sensors 655 and 656. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
