PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device capable of achieving a constitution reduced in the number of rollers and the number of gears more than a conventional constitution and stabilizing the conveyance of a sheet material. SOLUTION: A conveying roller 15 abutting on a feeding roller 2 is provided in the downstream of a nip of the feeding roller 2 and a separating member 4. The conveying roller 15 is connected in drive via a motor and a gear, etc. The feeding roller 2 is pressurized to the conveying roller 15 by an elastic body 6 such as a spring, and rotated by being driven by the conveying roller 15. By making the conveying roller 15 for assisting the conveyance of a sheet material abut on the feeding roller 2, the number of the rollers is reduced, and the gears for transmitting driving to resist rollers and intermediate conveying rollers are not required as compared with the case that the resist rollers and intermediate conveying rollers are provided.
