PURPOSE: A latch assembly for a vehicle seat is provided to prevent noise due to the separation space in a coupled state and to simplify a manipulation process by easily operating a part with low power. CONSTITUTION: A latch assembly(100) for a vehicle seat includes a base(110), a catch(120), a damping plate(130), a pawl plate(140), and a pawl(150). The base comprises a storing groove part(111) in which the striker of a car body is inserted. The catch revolves between the locked position and the unlocking position. The damping plate is rotatably and coaxially combined in the base. The pawl plate is rotatably combined with the base. The pawl plate comprises a pressurization plate(141) pressurizing the catch rotating with the locked position. The pawl is rotatably and coaxially combined with the base the pawl plate.
