PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposal device which can be cleaned efficiently and automatically not by manual aid in a short period of time. SOLUTION: A crushing mode operation for crushing garbage and a cleaning mode operation for cleaning the inside of a storage chamber and the inside of a discharge chamber can be performed. In the cleaning mode operation, the operation of rotating a crushing part in one direction for the fixed time and then stopping it for the fixed time is repeatedly performed.
