Radiotherapy assembly, for patient treatment by radiation, incorporates a camera for computer tomography

The radiotherapy assembly (11) has a radiotherapy unit (13) to deliver therapeutic rays at the patient (21) and a camera (15) for computer tomography. The patient is oriented by a positioning unit (17). The camera and the radiotherapy unit rotate together around an upper axis so that initially an image is taken of the patient followed by delivery of the therapeutic rays and are mounted on a common rotating foot (27). The radiotherapy unit has a circular structure (31) with a central opening (25) for the patient movement at least partially into it. The therapeutic rays are directed at the patient by a projecting arm (33).
