PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming apparatus and a method of forming an amorphous alloy in which occurrence of poor quality resulting from oxidization or contamination is prevented and also occurrence of poor quality resulting from an error of mass distribution of metal materials is prevented. SOLUTION: A forming apparatus 1 includes a melting means 6 for producing a metal alloy B by mixing, heating, and melting two or more metal materials A, a measuring means 7 for measuring weight and composition of the metal alloy B produced by the melting means 6, a forming means 8 in which a die 11 into which the metal alloy B measured by the measuring means 7 is pressed is installed, and for forming the metal alloy B pressed into an interior of the die 11 by cooling at a critical cooling rate or higher to glass transition temperature or lower from a temperature state higher than a melting point, a forming chamber 2 for housing the melting means 6, the measuring means 7 and the forming means 8, and an atmosphere setting means 3 for adjusting the inside of the forming chamber 2 to a vacuum atmosphere or inert gas atmosphere.
