PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem on an exhaust gas, necessity of a treatment furnace and a problem on a treatment time in detoxifying treatment of PCB (Polychlorinated Biphenyl) contaminant. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided to treat the PCB contaminant 6 contaminated by polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB). This equipment is constituted by disposing a heating device composed of a metallic cylindrical container 2 receiving the PCB contaminant 6, a cover 3 for tightly closing the cylindrical container 2, an IH coil 4 for induction-heating the cylindrical container 2, and a high frequency power source 5 in a treatment chamber 1 of normal temperature, and provided with exhaust gas passages 7, 8 to guide a gas generated in the cylindrical container 2 to heating equipment. As the metallic cylindrical container is disposed not in an exclusive treatment furnace but in the treatment chamber of normal temperature, and only the cylindrical container is induction-heated, a problem on the exhaust gas found in a burner processing, can be eliminated, and the treatment can be performed in a short time with high efficiency.
