<p>A data processing device (300) comprises difference value calculation means (402, 412) which focus on respective pixels in an image, and obtain a difference value between a pixel value of a focused pixel and a pixel value of a comparison target pixel located at a predetermined relative position near the focused pixel; representative value calculation means (403, 413) which extract a pixel group containing pixels having similar influences on shading by illumination, and calculate a representative value of the difference values of the pixel group, from the difference values of the respective pixels contained in the pixel group, by a statistical method, with respect to each of the pixels in the image; feature value calculation means (404, 414) for calculating feature values of the respective pixels, with respect to each of the pixels, on the basis of comparison between the difference value of the pixel and the representative value of the difference values of the pixel group corresponding to the pixel; and a similarity assessment means (301) for determining the similarity between the image and a predetermined image on the basis of the feature value of each pixel extracted by the feature value calculation means.</p> |
