<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monopulse Doppler radar device capable of calculating target detection data, including an azimuth in a short period. <P>SOLUTION: The monopulse Doppler radar device 100 includes a main arithmetic processing section 130 and an auxiliary arithmetic processing section 140, capable of performing high-speed operation as a digital arithmetic processing section for calculating distance, relative speed, and azimuth of a target by inputting an I signal digital value and a Q-signal digital value from an A/D conversion section 126. The auxiliary arithmetic processing section 140 performs pre-sum processing, having high computational complexity, FFT processing, and target determination processing, while the main arithmetic processing section 130 performs azimuth calculation processing. Azimuth calculation processing in the main arithmetic processing section 130 is performed, only on a distance gate and a frequency gate where a target is detected by target determination processing to significantly reduce the computational complexity performed in azimuth calculation processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
