PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing program, for preventing directivity from being generated in the granularity of output images even when a resolution in the vertical direction and a resolution in a horizontal direction are different. SOLUTION: By this embodiment, a coefficient group corresponding to the aspect ratio of the resolution of the output image is set to an error propagation matrix 17b and error diffusion processing is performed using the error propagation matrix 17b. Thus, even when the resolution in the vertical direction and the resolution in the horizontal direction of the output image printed in a printer 40 are different, the directivity is prevented from being generated in the granularity of the output image.
