PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of breakage or non-uniform washing due to the movement to the right and left of an article during washing or the like, though conventionally an article presser using a plate of a fixed thickness can prevent the article from floating. SOLUTION: The article presser of the washing apparatus includes a plurality of pressing rods for pressing the article and an upper plate and a lower plate for smoothing the movement of the pressing rods, and the article to be washed is pressed by the plurality of pressing rods matched with the shape of the article.
