<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detecting accuracy of a registration mark not only when a recording medium on which the registration mark is put is plain paper or high-quality paper but also when it is newspaper, recycled paper or colored paper. <P>SOLUTION: The registration mark detector includes at least a first mark detection means that detects the registration mark formed on the recording medium by irradiating the registration mark formed on the recording medium with a laser beam of first wavelength and detecting the reflected laser beam from the registration mark, and a second mark detection means that detects the registration mark formed on the recording medium by irradiating the registration mark formed on the recording medium with a laser beam of second wavelength different from that of the first mark detection means and detecting the reflected laser beam from the registration mark. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
