摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that it is difficult to make a faithful color reproduction technology into a product, an application range becomes narrow and there is a limitation in the aspect of costs. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an illumination unit 3 which irradiates an observation object 2 with spectral reflectance R(λ) with illumination light having three light-emission spectrum distributions (L<SB>1</SB>(λ), L<SB>2</SB>(λ), L<SB>3</SB>(λ)); and a first camera 4 including one spectral sensitivity K(λ) for detecting reflection light of the observation object 2. On the basis of a light-emission spectrum distribution E(λ) and the spectral sensitivities (S<SB>1</SB>(λ), S<SB>2</SB>(λ), S<SB>3</SB>(λ)) in the case where three spectral sensitivities (S<SB>1</SB>(λ), S<SB>2</SB>(λ), S<SB>3</SB>(λ)), as linear transform of CIE-XYZ isochromatic function, are set to a second camera M under illumination having the one spectral sensitivity K(λ) and the light-emission spectrum distribution E(λ), the light-emission spectrum distributions (L<SB>1</SB>(λ), L<SB>2</SB>(λ), L<SB>3</SB>(λ)) are set to the illumination unit 3 so as to be equivalent to the output of the second camera M, and an output from the first camera 4 is transformed to obtain tristimulus values.
