摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass molding die for an airflow levitation type production apparatus for a glass body, the die not only having excellent heat resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and the like, but preventing reduction in durability caused by peeling of a film or the like from the molding face, preventing occurrence of contact scratches on the glass body caused by excessively high hardness of the molding face, preventing deposition of contaminants on the glass body caused by excessively low hardness of the molding face, and achieving easy producing property. SOLUTION: The airflow levitation type production apparatus 1 for a glass body is configured in such a manner that a glass gob 2 in a soft state dropping from a fused glass draining part 9 is received by a molding recess 6 which is formed in a glass molding die 4 and whose upper part is open, and simultaneously the glass gob 2 is cooled while being levitated and rotated by an airflow B injected in the molding recess 6 to advance upward, to produce a glass body 3 in a spherical form.
