Bottle siphon for measuring gas in biogas experiments

The siphon has an electromechanical three-way valve for controlling flow and exhaust of gas. The valve connects a biogas-supply line with an inner chamber in a condition without flow of gas. An inner chamber is filled with biogas, where filling level of the chamber with biogas is detected using an electrode in an outer chamber, and via an LED (45) that emerges from a sealing fluid (41) i.e. water. The LED comprises a light impermeable coating (49) on a convex part of a housing. A photo sensor (46) is provided opposite to the LED outside the sealing fluid.
