The invention relates to an outdoor cabinet (10) for accommodating preferably electrical components, the cabinet body of which is made up of side walls (13) held by two outer corner posts (12) each, and at least one door (14) disposed between two corner posts (12), wherein the door (14) does not have any functional parts on the exterior thereof and is configured visually in conformance with the side walls (13) of the cabinet (10), and the hinges used for holding the door (14) on a corner post (12) and the locking mechanism provided for locking the door (14) to the other corner post (12) are both disposed in the interior of the cabinet (10), and wherein the flexurally rigid profile (16) of the corner posts (12) and the connection of the side walls (13) and of the door (14) to the corner posts (12) is configured in the same manner such that no deviation recognizable from the outside is present when viewing a side wall side, or when viewing the door side of the cabinet (10). |
