METHOD FOR MEASURING CAPACITY OF RECEIVING BED OF POPLITEAL-TALOCRURAL SEGMENT

A method for measuring the capacity of the receiving bed of popliteal-talocrural segment comprises the measurement of the vascular bed flow rate in its perfusion. The systolic pressure and flow rate in the bypass are estimated. Then, the vascular bed flow rate is measured at the pressure equaling the pressure in bypass. The capacity of the receiving arterial bed is calculated. The capacity exceeding 0.8 is considered as sufficient. The capacity within the range of 0.6-0.8 is considered as moderately poor. Finally, the capacity below 0.6 is considered as critically poor.
