<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direction-determining method for determining the direction of work using, without a change, a communication function of the work provided with a non-contact type IC tag. <P>SOLUTION: A direction-determining apparatus 11 determines the direction of the work 1, which has a passive tag type IC tag 4 fixed at a predetermined position on the surface and is a subject to be determined. The IC tag 4 is provided with a substrate 5, an IC module 6, and an antenna coil 7 eccentrically disposed on the substrate 5. The direction-determining apparatus 11 is provided with an antenna 14 which communicates with the IC tag 4, and a determining circuit 15. In a state where the work 1 and the direction-determining apparatus 11 are positioned at predetermined communication positions, communication is performed between the antenna 14 of the direction-determining apparatus 11 and the antenna coil 7 of the IC tag 4, communication intensity during a time when the communication is performed is determined by means of the determining circuit 15, and the direction of the work 1 is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
