NOVEL CELLULOSIMICROBIUM FUNKEI HY-13 STRAIN AND XYLANASE PRODUCED FROM IT

PURPOSE: A Cellulosimicrobium funkei HY-13 strain producing xylanase is provided to ensure decomposition ability to fiber substrate and to improve feed value by adding to various vegetable feed ingredients. CONSTITUTION: A Cellulosimicrobium funkei HY-13(KTCT 11302BP) produces xylanase. The xylanase has an N-terminal amino acid sequence of sequence number 4(APSTLEAAAE). The xylanase is maximally active at pH 5.0-7.0 and 55-65°C. The xylanase activity is stable to Ca, Ni, Cu, Zn, Mg, Mn, Sn, Ba, Co or Fe. A method for producing xylanase comprises: a step of culturing Cellulosimicrobium funkei HY-13 in a medium containing xylan; a step of centrifuging to obtain supernatant; a step of adding precipitant to the supernatant to induce protein precipitation; a step of removing insoluble precipitate and dialyzing to obtain co-enzyme liquid; and a step of performing column chromatography of the co-enzyme.
