PURPOSE: An alpenstock is provided, which prevents a string from being expanded in keeping the alpenstock and removes burden of rotation along the screw groove in mounting a basket. CONSTITUTION: An alpenstock comprises: a concave groove which is formed in a basket; a groove which is formed in order to be projected from the basket fixing unit of the alpenstock; a site on which a string is hung and which is formed in the rear bottom of the handle in order to keep a wrist band. On the site which a string is hung, a string is fixed to be used.
