PURPOSE: A fluid injector is provided to precisely inject fluid through an injection nozzle, since a valve needle is driven by a lift which is precisely determined by distance between a first position and a closing position. CONSTITUTION: A fluid injector comprises a valve body(2), a valve needle(12), a first electrical armature(14), a second armature(24), and a solenoid driver(34). The valve body comprises a recess. The valve needle is mechanically coupled with an axial end(17) of a first spring(16) which is pre-loaded to apply power to the valve needle. The first electrical armature is mechanically coupled with the valve needle. The first electrical armature and the second armature are mechanically separated from each other toward a first position. The first electrical armature and the second armature are mechanically combined with each other from the first position far from the closed position. The solenoid driver magnetically actuates the first electrical armature and the second armature to move a shaft. |
