PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently introduce merchandise in a corrugated fiberboard box by using a parallel robot. SOLUTION: In a merchandise filling method, a parallel robot 4 is used, which is capable of arranging suction pads 47 connected to fore ends of parallel link pairs 44, 45 and 46 at arbitrary positions in a predetermined three-dimensional space. A corrugated fiberboard box B in which merchandise product Products P are filled is conveyed by a second conveyor 3 while conveying the merchandise product P by a first conveyor 2. A first flap B<SB>1</SB>arranged between the first and second conveyors 2 and 3 out of flaps of the corrugated fiberboard box B is expanded while conveying the corrugated fiberboard box B by a first guide bar 10 extending along the conveying direction of the second conveyor 3, the merchandise product P on the first conveyor 2 is held by the suction pads 47 of the parallel robot 4, and introduced into the corrugated fiberboard box B conveyed by the second conveyor 3 over the expanded first flap B<SB>1</SB>.
