<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column for an electric fence, enabling easy insertion of the column into a body of an engaging tool even if an upper end of the column is deformed to some extent by hitting the upper end with a hammer, etc., thereby enabling sure and easy installation of the electric fence. <P>SOLUTION: The column for the electric fence is provided with a cylindrical column body and a cap attached to an upper end of the column body and having a hemispherical upper end. The maximum diameter of the cap is set to be nearly equal to an outer diameter of the upper end of the column body and, accordingly, the maximum diameter of the cap is maintained within the range of the outer diameter of the column body even if the upper end of the column is deformed to an extent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
