PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of preventing a scanning position from being changed due to change of temperature and preventing a scanning line from being bent and to provide an image forming device capable of maintaining high grade without causing color slippage and discoloring. SOLUTION: In this optical scanner, an optical element 300 attempts to have a downward convex shape because it swells more than a holding member 304 due to rise of temperature. On the other hand, the holding member 304 attempts to have an upward convex shape because aluminum of its upper layer plate material 303 swells more than iron of its lower layer plate material 302. However, since the optical element 300 and the holding member 304 are mutually connected by a plate spring body 308 in the vicinity of the center, their bending properties are mutually offset, and degree of bending of the optical element 300 becomes lower than that of the holding member 304 made of one kind of raw material, thereby reducing change of position of scanning line.
