<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange scaffolding for work in an optimum position corresponding to each side of a tower-shaped object by changing an outer diameter of a workbench in accordance with the change in the outer diameter of the tower-shaped object. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The extendable triangular workbench A is constituted so that it has a nearly triangular shape in cross section by combining a plurality of workbench bases 1 and a plurality of bending-type workbench auxiliary parts 2. Each of the workbench bases 1 is arranged so as to face each of the sides of the tower-shaped object, and each of the bending-type workbench auxiliary parts 2 is arranged so as to face a corner of the respective sides of the tower-shaped object. Each of the bending-type workbench auxiliary parts 2 has both ends supported by each of the workbench bases 1 which faces with each other, while being coupled in such a manner as to be taken in/out with the respective workbench bases 1.
