PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implement for practicing holding table equipment and table equipment, enabling a user to easily make the angle of the user's thumb appropriate with respect to the table equipment and correct the way of holding the table equipment. SOLUTION: The implement for practicing holding table equipment comprises: a body 10 having a chopstick spacing section 11 made of a soft material and installed between an upper chopstick H1 and a lower chopstick H2 when chopsticks H are held to keep the space between the upper chopstick H1 and the lower chopstick H2, and chopstick fitting/inserting holes formed respectively on both ends of the chopstick spacing section 11 and inserting and fitting the upper chopstick H1 and the lower chopstick H2 respectively; and a plate member 20 inserted and fitted to a through-slit 13 penetrating from the rear end side to the tip side of the chopsticks H on the chopstick spacing section 11. The plate member 20 comprises a fitting/inserting plate section 21a inserted and fitted to the through-slit 13, and an orthogonal plate section 21b orthogonally crossing the fitting/inserting plate section 21a.
