<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cancel an appointment in an appointment management server upon a medical institution's request. <P>SOLUTION: Upon an appointment request from a user's terminal, the appointment management server records information about a medical examination appointment in an appointment information database, together with an appointment ID for identifying the appointment, and sends this appointment information to a medical institution's terminal. The medical institution's terminal receives the appointment information from the appointment management database and records the information in a hospital visit information database, and, upon the input of a cancellation request for the appointment information recorded, sends medical examination appointment cancellation information to the appointment management server, together with the appointment ID of the appointment. According to the medical examination appointment cancellation information from the medical institution's terminal, the appointment management server performs a processing for canceling the appointment information on the appointment information database which corresponds to the appointment ID contained in the cancellation information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
