PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a function for allowing a user to temporarily use a certain function in a state that a user not imparted with a use right for the certain specified function logs in.

SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes: an user authentication part 31 for executing the authentication of the user; a function enabling part 32 for enabling a function available for the first user based on the right of the first user set in advance when the authentication of the first user executed by the user authentication part 31 results in success; and a function extending part 33 for extending the function available for the first user to enable when the authentication of the second user executed by the user authentication part 31 results in success with the function available for the first user being enabled by adding the right of the second user set in advance to the right of the first user.
