<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a truck frame stretching device in which expansion/contraction of a lower traveling body can be smoothly performed, a relatively small cylinder can be used as an expanding/contracting cylinder, the flexibility of choice of a mounting position of the expanding/contracting cylinder is improved, and the weight of members for sliding during further expansion and contraction can be reduced. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Guide frames 3a are provided by being horizontally projected at the back and front of a center frame 3, respectively. A rack 18 is provided in each of the guide frames 3a. A rotation shaft 14 is provided by being supported on right/left side frames 2 by a bearing 15 in a longitudinal direction. A pinion 16 meshing with the rack 18 provided at the front and rear guide frames 3a is provided in the back and front of the rotation shaft 14.
