<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus without causing trouble that a device with a setting value newly set therein is not correctly operated when the setting value of a prescribed device is set in another device. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes a device ID storing unit 128 that stores therein device identification information for identifying the composite machine 100, a setting definition storing unit 126 that associates and stores various setting values and unique information that indicates whether the setting value is a device eigenvalue, a setting information managing unit 142 that obtains a setting information file that includes the setting values and the device identification information, the setting information managing unit 142 that compares the device identification information included in the setting information file and the device identification information stored in an identification information storage means 127, and the setting information managing unit 142 that updates a setting value other than the device eigenvalue to a setting value included in the setting information file, when both device identification information do not match. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
