PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment agent to be used in treatment and prevention of diseases caused by deposition ofβ-amyloid in the brain. SOLUTION: An antibody againstβ-amyloid peptide (Aβpeptide) is provided. Another treatment agent is the one administering the Aβpeptide to a patient to induce immune response, which is administered with an adjuvant (such as alum or MPL) to enhance immune response to Aβpeptide.
